Family Nurse Practitioner
Aerah Kang, FNP-C, DNP is a dual-trained nurse practitioner in both conventional and functional medicine. Aerah received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Cincinnati in 2006 and is currently a Doctoral Nurse Practitioner candidate for 2023. She has a strong foundation in primary and palliative care for patients with comorbidities, having over 15 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and 10 years as a Registered Nurse in internal medicine.
Aerah was a long-time patient suffering from Fibromyalgia. Five years ago, she received functional medicine treatment utilizing the Myers’ Cocktail, and her symptoms of Fibromyalgia were reversed. This inspired her to learn more about functional medicine and eventually become a specialist in the field. She truly believes that a combination of treatment of both functional and conventional medicine is necessary for effective, long-lasting treatment.
Aerah loves to consult her patients with both medicinal concepts to uncover the root of their conditions and symptoms. She aims to optimize one’s health and wellbeing with minimal pharmaceutical usage. As a dual-trained nurse practitioner, she strives to learn more about various diseases and how to treat them accordingly.
